I have worked with Action Alliance International since they formed, both personally and also through the non-profit organization I lead. We are primarily involved with the work they do in conjunction with FundaMaya in Guatemala. I have always found Action Alliance to be wonderful to deal with as we work together to figure out how we can best serve in “normal” times and now during the pandemic. Linda has been very open and easy to communicate with for many of our team members. My impression is she has been extremely respectful and knowledgeable about both the United States regulations and culture/expectations of people that donate. In addition, she also works to understand the Guatemalan NGO’s regulations and culture of the people she interacts with on a management level, but also truly respecting the people she works to serve each and every day. Based on my involvement with non-profits for over ten years, this respect and ability to traverse both cultures and regulatory necessities is essential.

The money we have sent for specific projects has been used appropriately and in the best manner possible to educate, feed, and assist in thousands of lives. Linda communicates effectively, quickly, honestly, and from a heart of genuine service. Linda is an accountant and very thorough and knowledgeable. We look forward to partnering with Action Alliance for many years into the future. I am anxious to be able to return to Guatemala with teams to serve alongside those we cherish and respect, working with both Action Alliance International and FundaMaya. Thank you for being a conduit and active participant each and every day in doing good in this world! You are compassionate and provide physical help to many, along with HOPE! I can't wait to see the impact you have in the years to come!
