Review for For Love & Art, Dallas, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Dear Friend and Patron of FOR LOVE & ART®,
Twelve years ago, with the assistance of many, those in our nonprofit organization's earliest stages began partnering with world-class museums' community outreach programs to use their artwork as engagement tools for folks nearing life's end.

With the incredible loving support of patrons like you, we have achieved success beyond our wildest dreams. While our reputation as industry leaders in the growing field of Therapeutic Art, part of the broad spectrum of Arts in Health, humbles us, there remains much more to accomplish.

FOR LOVE & ART has never pretended to be an academic project but rather one of mercy. We use art to provide love and comfort to those individuals who frequently suffer from real or imagined conditions. My wise father often quipped, "Growing old is not for sissies." Indeed, we are there to walk with people through their fears, trials, and tribulations. Our tools are 'Beauty' and 'Listening,' as we stimulate art appreciation and full self-expression.

And what to make of Beauty? As G.K. Chesterton once observed, "Beauty is a privileged pathway to God in a secular age." Similarly, famed architect Renzo Piano once told interviewer Charlie Rose, "I believe in the redemptive power of Beauty. Beauty is not romantic. Beauty is profound. Beauty is one of the most important emotions in life. Beauty can save the world, one person at a time. I am sure of that."

So are we.

Please be generous and consider donating to our mission of beauty, love and mercy. We ask you to consider sponsoring a community session with a donation of $150 or as your budget allows. Your support will enable us to bring our love and art's Beauty to conquer the fears and loneliness of many. As ever, the souls you enrich may well include your own.

Thank you for your consideration. As we "Art Angels" often say, "To celebrate Art is to celebrate LIFE!"
