Glasswing has been a key part of my personal growth during this past year. For personal circumstances, I ended up living by myself in Guatemala, after my son and his mother had to travelback to Mexico, where I'm from.
As part of therapy, I began the search for activities that helped me build my confidence back and develop a community feeling for this new stage of my life.
Ever since the first activity, I felt the way this organization works as a group of friends; guided by the principle of helping people however they can.
The help that these communities get, is noticeably welcome by the schools and the students; which are excited everytime I've been lucky enough to have a session with them.
The way the coordinators treat the volunteers is also stellar, and I have always felt like an important part of a big mission.
