The Opening Word Program truly respects the dignity of all who attend the program. The administration, staff and teachers help the women to grow in all aspects of their lives. Besides teaching English, Opening Word provides food and other items for the families. Their kindness, love and compassion extends beyond the classroom. It is such an uplifting program to visit. There is such a sense of joy and peace on the classrooms and throughout the buildings. I am honored to be on the board of this wonderful organization.
