We have worked closely with Volunteer New York and its partner, RSVP of Westchester for many years, placing volunteers in our academic mentoring programs in Westchester County. As a nonprofit, we seek to partner with others to leverage our ability to recruit volunteers. Volunteer New York has provided us with many wonderful people to work with children in our programs, some of whom have now been with us for years.

Working with the staff at Volunteer New York is always a pleasure. They are extremely responsive, positive and hard-working, always helping us with using their website whenever it is needed. Whenever I email them for assistance it seems as if I hit send and then get a response almost immediately every time! In addition, Volunteer New York also comes as a group to our Summer Reading Buddies program, helping to make it a success.

I recommend Volunteer New York unreservedly both to nonprofits who need help with volunteers and to individuals looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities.
