As many people do, I had struggled with who I was and why I am here for many years having experienced some very difficult life moments, and when I read the works of Guy Finley, I felt something internally that was extraordinary. Among so many other things, his work was able to help me see that pain is just something we don’t understand about ourselves and that difficult times can really assist us. I’ve now been studying the true principles that are presented at the Life of Learning Foundation for 30 years and have also volunteered assisting with transcription of talks, selling books and helping with the ongoing regular events. There was a quote written by someone about one of Guy’s books entitled “The Secret of Letting Go” which has become an international bestseller where the individual explains that he's read many, many so-called life-changing books and that this was the first time he had found it to be true. I always felt drawn to the foundation and finally moved to where I could have the direct experience of this center for spiritual-discovery and to assist the Foundation with their mission which they work tirelessly to fulfill by helping sincere spiritual seekers “realize a conscious relationship with the Divine”. In my experience, the Life of Learning fulfills that mission that includes being “a welcome harbor for anyone wishing to let go of harmful negative states such as stress, fear and resentment in favor of a life filled with more love, compassion, and excellence.”

People’s lives are truly changed for the better through Guy’s extraordinary dedication to that mission and I’m so grateful to be a part of this. It truly has helped in my quest for an understanding of life and why I’m here.
