This is such a unique organization. I don't know of another one like it, even though there is such a need. Women today are exploited in many ways - some aren't even recognized. For example, prostitution is legal in very few places on the planet, and there's a reason for that. So society seems to (mostly) agree that women should not be treated as things. Yet in the United States we allow strip clubs everywhere, and yes, even legalize prostitution (e.g., in Nevada). For Her provides a way to get women out of these kinds of degrading situations, with resources and support to restore their innate dignity, to increase their self-esteem, and pride. Surely this is extremely important to women, and to society as a whole. Every person alive has a mother that loved them enough to give them a place in this world. We owe it to all women to recognize their place in society, and the special way in which only they can contribute. Put simply, women matter, and For Her promotes this important message, to society as a whole, and to those that matter most - our women.
