This is an excellent charity which provides needed medical supplies and equipment to underdeveloped countries. Items range from beds, radiology and biomedical equipment including ventilators, infusion pumps, etc. The organization is almost all volunteer-run and welcomes individual volunteers and work groups. The regular volunteer have varied expertise and are always willing to welcome new folks! I have been volunteering for the past two years and consider it a wonderful way to use my health care expertise and make a difference globally. I have met wonderful people and am amazed at how work together to accomplish the organization's goals.
