The Legacy Ranch is truly a high quality, certified Equine Therapy Facility that makes each and every client feel valued and important. The staff and volunteers work very hard all year round to raise funds so the programs can be both maintained and increased. The Legacy Ranch has never turned down anyone who has come searching for help, and the Board is dedicated to providing scholarships so finances are not a barrier either.

The Legacy Ranch truly is a piece of Heaven on earth for those facing physical or mental challenges. A life-changing experience is only a neigh away.

In the 3 months prior to my retirement, I began searching for a non-profit that I could feel passionate about and volunteer for on a regular basis. I was drawn to The Legacy Ranch from the moment I passed by it in the car.

In my first interactions with The Legacy Ranch staff, I could feel the commitment to their mission and vision. It was obvious that their horses were not tools for their non-profit, but true, respected partners in the mission.

The more I learned about The Legacy Ranch, the more I knew that it was the place that I wanted to donate not only my volunteer time to, but also the services of my prized horse, "Ajax." Ajax and I have now been volunteering there for 6 months and both of us couldn't be happier.

On a daily basis, miracles come true at The Legacy Ranch. The smiles on the faces of the children and adults who have met challenges elsewhere, but find independence and joy at The Legacy Ranch could light up a room. The trainers know how to bring out the best in the clients, and the Legacy Healing Herd excel in giving the greatest care to their riders.

The services at The Legacy Ranch are not limited to equine riding, but also include self-help sessions in the peaceful environment of the Ranch and its horses. As soon as you step foot on the Ranch, you feel a sense of calm and peace.

I am very proud to be a volunteer at The Legacy Ranch and know that the clients there do feel the positive difference that The Legacy Ranch brings to their lives.
