I first became aware of Burge Bird Rescue when I lived in Illinois and belonged to an African Grey Facebook group. I loved how Dr. Julie Burge would share her rescue stories and her care stories from her vet practice. It helped educate bird owners on the care of their birds. Three years ago when I moved to Missouri she became the vet for my two birds.

Dr. Julie is always ready to help save any of God’s creatures. She shares with the public to help educate and bring awareness.
