The pet project not only helps people who are sick or can't afford their pets but help homeless dogs in shelters as well. Because of them sponsoring senior dogs at Broward county animal control with food and medical these dogs get a better chance of being rehomed when they are always overlooked because of their age. I have never seen the pet project ever turn someone or their pet away when they were in need !! In addition countless animal rescues rely on them for food and resources. Without them so many animals would never get the help they need and the people running the pet project are sympathetic, kind and just true heroes to so many !!!!!
