Review for High Fives Nonprofit Foundation, Truckee, CA, USA
I just received my first High Fives grant, and I am ecstatic! My right upper arm shoulder were paralyzed in a snowboarding accident in 2003. Almost 20 years later, snowboarding is still my passion. I’m hoping to be part of the first class of women’s UL snowboard athletes at the 2026 Paralympics, and I’m so thankful to High Fives for helping me along my journey. Every interaction I’ve had with the organization has been wonderful. The staff are quick to respond and communicate clearly. The grant application process was straightforward and easy to use. I can’t wait to get my adaptive boots and bindings so I can up my training this winter. Thank you, High Fives!
