SLB Radio Productions has a long history of creating increasingly empathetic and equitable communities throughout the Pittsburgh area and Western Pennsylvania through the power of storytelling. As a former intern at the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies in Johnstown, PA working with Larry and the SLB team, I learned so much about the storytelling process and importance of active listening and intellectual humility in sharing stories of resilience, transformation, and community pride. Their work is so important and helps to create knowledge and understanding that crosses boundaries of diversity and difference in the region.
