The Literacy Network does more than teach adults in our community how to read – it provides HOPE.

I’ve seen firsthand how Literacy Network impacts the lives of its students and their families. For example, an adult learner can now talk to their child’s schoolteacher, read critical health information during a pandemic, and understand the food on the shelves at the grocery store…things all of us take for granted every day.

Literacy Network develops an individualized teaching plan for each learner that comes through its door and provides the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. The people who receive instruction through Literacy Network have the trajectory of their lives changed forever.
