ActionAid USA is a unique voice and force in the international development sector. I admire their commitment to working in solidarity with Global South communities and partnering with local organizations, rather than simply distributing aid and imposing funders' agendas. They have a strong power analysis and are constantly seeking to minimize harm within an inherently imperialist sector—no easy task and all the more needed!
