We just celebrated 6-months with George. All communication during the adoption process was thorough and timely. We knew upfront that he suffered from significant anxiety, and Melanie and the Rescue checked in with us almost daily to see how his transition was going and to offer advice. We still interact as George continues adjusting! The Rescue stays involved with adopters through robust social media and, as I experienced, direct communication even after an adoption has been completed. Theirs is a mission of the heart.
