The Muslim Response USA for Relief and Development and Islamic Zakat Fund Malawi (IZF) are both non-profit organizations based in Virginia – USA and Malawi respectively.

The two organization signed a funding agreement to confirm the relationship of cooperation between them to successfully and effectively implement the project titled “Qurbani 2022 Project”. This project was funded by Muslim Response USA for Relief and Development.

The project was successfully implemented by Islamic Zakaat Fund Malawi. Six large animals (Cows) were sacrificed on Tuesday 12th July 2022 at Lingoni area in Machinga district, which benefitted 300 people, 84 Male, 146 Female and 70 children.

As Islamic Zakaat Fund Malawi, just as any other charitable organization is committed to serve the poor through any means possible. This is the reason why IZF accepted to implement this project.

We thank Muslim Response USA for Relief and Development (Muslim Response USA) for the 2022 Qurbani project. We further pray for them to continue donating to Islamic Zaakat Fund Malawi so that Malawians benefit each year.

We would like also to extend our appreciation to Muslim Response USA for Relief and Development (Muslim Response USA) for entrusting Islamic Zakaat Fund Malawi to implement this project. We hopefully to partner with them for more projects.
