Apopo provides a very effective solution to deadly problems. I was young when i read an article about the desmineurs who gave their lives removing mines and ordnance when wars had ended. The loss of life in peacetime was terrible. TB is an ancient scourge, and many valuable lives were cut short. The teamwork between people, and countries, and also the animals to the benefit of all is lovely to see.
