Smiling Calm Hearts its a wonderful organization that teaches kids social and emotional skills for life. Helps them focus, calm down, breath calmly, think positive, and act nicely with other kids.
I was a scout leader in my local community for more than 10 years, I can tell how important is the unconventional learning for kids as addition to their regular education. I get to know Mrs. Wood and her organization, as a professional filmmaker, helping her with the animation needed for her online version of her classes, and it's amazing how the kids enjoy while learning. If you have the chance to try it, it will delight you!

I had the chance to meet and work with Kelly (creator of the program) , very kind and thoughtful person. Her way of seeing the world gets impregnated in this program aim to help our kids in their growing. Teaching and helping them practice core values needed to live in community, like: being patient, help others, be generous, persevere when things are not working the way you expected. Basically this program help kids be and take conscious decisions about their actitudes and actions towards them and others. As mother, kids scout leader, and teacher these values are most needed for a better society in a near future. Our kids are the future.
