Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA
Spiced by its humorous take (the headlines are masterful), Grist is an excellent source for information on the environment -- truly "a beacon in the smog." Seems to be growing in stature wth more traditional media sources -- I see references to Grist now in the New York Times. Some of the best writers today on the environment are writing at Grist, like Tom Philpott and Elly Blue -- highly recommended.
