Hi, my name is Denise Funderburk and the Wingard Home saved my life. When I arrived there I only had the clothes on my back and a hope that something would be different. IT DEFINITELY WAS. Not only did Ms. Charlotte Wingard talk about what I needed to do she lived it out loud right in front of me. The work that God is doing through her and that ministry isawe inspiring and miraculous. There is no other way to define it.
I was able to go from being a hopeless and homeless recovering addict and convicted felon to being a well respected individual with an incredible work ethic and 2 Associates Degrees within 4 years of leaving the ministry. I lived there for a little over a year. I still go back there to see the folks I still consider family from time to time. That is the only place I have ever really been able to call home. This last visit I was able to take my daughter with me that I now have custody of. Talk about miracles. This is definitely a place that is worth mentioning to someone that is at their wits end and looking for a new way of life.
