Review for Save The Ta-Tas Foundation, West Hills, CA, USA

Rating: 4 stars

I was diagnosed with breast cancer, at age 42, in October 2010. My doctors thought the mass that was seen on a mammogram and ultrasound was merely a fibroadenoma, until the biopsy. I immediately began collecting as much information as possible. I learned I had the BRCA gene mutation which led to my decision to have a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. I am still going through chemotherapy and other treatments to return to wellness. My college age daughter told me about Save the Ta Ta's! We bought lots of T-shirts immediately as it was a way for my children to show support for me! I have a VERY strong will and VERY positive attitude and laugh EVERYDAY! I appreciate the mission of "Ta Ta's" and too believe laughter heals!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have experienced the truth that laughter is one of the best medicines. A positive attitude is one of the most important ways a breast cancer patient can help themselves.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would not make changes...keep up the good work!

Role:  Volunteer & I educate anyone who is interested about breast cancer.
