Over the last few years, I have been fortunate enough to watch Beyond Basics develop as an organization through the trials of a global pandemic. Despite unforeseen circumstances shifting the manner in which their curriculum had to be delivered, the organization truly went above and beyond to fit the needs of its diverse demographic of students. Regardless of the circumstances each student faced, the organization worked diligently to ensure that their tutoring opportunity was accessible to them through both virtual and in-person means. Despite these hurdles, students were able to depend upon Beyond Basics tutors and classroom environments as a constant within their lives.
