The Wingard Home is an excellent place to be if you're homeless or need help. If you need to stay somewhere while trying to get back on your feet, it's a great place to be. It can accommodate single people, married couples, and even a family. First, it is faith based and they share the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ so that people will get saved by accepting Christ as Savior. There are resources available if you need internet access to look for jobs. Also just networking with and communicating with the residents or staff there can also bring job leads. You must also be humble under authority and obey the rules. I personally lived there for 6 months after I found a job and saved up and got my own apartment. They helped me move and gave me some furniture when I left. The Lord is definitely using the Wingard Home to help people and provide them with another chance at life.
