Review for International Snow Leopard Trust, Seattle, WA, USA
Snow Leopard Trust keeps its supporters continually updated with their activities and tells us exactly where and how donations are spent. I feel as though I can get to know individual cats via all the photos and “selfies” (wildlife camera video) and ongoing biographies of each individual leopard. All of these images are entertaining, some are hilarious, all are heartwarming. I especially enjoy reading about how SLT interacts with the many locals, villagers, schoolchildren and continues to educate them about snow leopards and to help in preserving them. SLT is basically teaching everyone to also appreciate and love the cats rather than to view them as a menace to cattle. Most enjoyable was a day when supporters could watch and interact with the different researchers in snow leopard habitat around the world. I feel like a valued member and proudly wear the T-shirts!
