Review for The Nonhuman Rights Project Inc, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I first came across The Nonhuman Rights Project when Steven Wise (NHRP founder) did a speaking tour across Australia in or around 2016. I found his approach and back story with NHRP fascinating and inspiring, and a real means of changing the human relationship with (non-human) animals. I have followed NHRP ever since, and became a monthly donor along the way. The way they constantly explore and challenge the status quo of animal confinement through the law and habeas corpus really appeals to me. Super clever. Great stuff.

Review for The Nonhuman Rights Project Inc, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I first came across NHRP when Steven Wise, founder and president of the NHRP, did a lecture series across Australia. I was inspired by the approach of NHRP to tackle rights of non-human animals in the courts, and the clear parallels drawn between this battle today and the battle to end western slavery in years gone by. Over several years since then I have closely followed the successes (and challenges) of NHRP from 'downunder', and support them as I can, with no doubt that my support is going to a just and effective organisation.
