An active and important non-profit that has Centers across the country that focus on the needs of older adults, ensuring they get the social interaction they need as well as opportunities for learning and transportation, plus other types of assistance. The national headquarters is very supportive of the Centers providing sample position descriptions, learning opportunities regarding fund raising and Board responsibilities, among other things. They also help with software and other support tools. Their monthly Roundtable zoom calls are most helpful with various Centers sharing what's working and what isn't.
