I have been a supporter of Beauty's Haven for 12 years. I learned of Theresa and Bob Batchelor and their dedicated volunteers through friends who were a.part of their work.

I started my relationship by sponsoring one horse with a monthly donation. As time went on I began to sponsor more and today I am happy to say I have two minis and three horses in my little herd.

I can't say enough about the love and care these very special animals receive. They come in broken, abused, starved, abandoned, unloved, but within a few weeks they are on their way to recovery and their new life in the place I call " a bit of heaven on earth". It is not just horses that are helped, but cats, dogs and even a baby dwarf calf named Hope, that was rescued and given a chance but sadly passed away due to her deformities. For the short time that Hope had on earth, she drew so many people to love and support her on her journey.

So many stories to tell. Some stay forever as sanctuary residents, but most are rehabbed and when ready, adopted. If i lived closer to the rescue, I would be a willing volunteer. For now, I am happy to be a sponsor for my little herd.
