Sanctuary One has been wonderful! We were looking for some llamas - and they followed up with us maybe a year later to let us know they had rescued some. They fully vetted and sheared the llamas and one alpaca before we came out which I thought was wonderful service. We fell in love with the animals immediately and moved to adopt them. Sanctuary One was careful to check our background/references and farm before bringing the animals out, which we think is so important. With all of that, they only asked a nominal adoption fee - so we happily donated additional funds to help with their animal rescue efforts.
