I have rescued animals in New England for the past 25 years. Occasionally I get an animal that I am unable to place locally due to a physical or medical problem. I know that Rikki's is there for them if needed. I sent my first animal to Rikki's some 15 years ago and have sent animals there ever since. Kerry welcomes them and I know that they will be well taken care of for the rest of their life. I have personally delivered animals there from Connecticut and look forward to my next visit. It is wonderful ,caring place

Although I live 400 miles from the shelter, I am very involved and only wish I lived closer, in order to help first hand. The shelter is well run and helps animals no matter how severe their problem is
