I had a great experience volunteering with Girls Rock! DC's summer camp. I felt well trained and prepared for my role, program directors communicated clearly and often, and there was a great sense of teamwork and camaraderie among volunteers. I appreciated the extra precautions that leaders took to keep campers and counselors safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward to volunteering again in the future.
