The wonderful work this group does in rescuing cats and finding good homes for them has been going on for DECADES. I recall years and years and years ago now, finding a feral mama cat and kittens born in a woodpile in the backyard of my parents’ home when MEOW was in a tiny storefront on Mercer Island in their early years. Without hesitation when I reached out, they actually brought humane traps and got both mama cat and kittens for rescue. Years later, when I was able, I adopted from them, and my niece (who wasn’t even a gleam in her parents’ eyes when we first learned of MEOW) went on to volunteer with them as a high schooler. She learned so much about rescues from them, and our family has loved and supported them in different ways throughout the years. HUGE fan!!!
