Several years ago, I adopted two adult cats from MEOW- the process was smooth and MEOW was so committed to making sure the cats and I were a great match. And they were right! Over the years, they have supported me as the cats' owner, though their clear priority is health and wellfare of cats that come their way. They are always open to taking the cats back if life circumstances (heaven forbid) mean I can't care for them. I'm just so impressed with their care for both the humans and the cats, regardless of where life has led them. Highly recommend them!
