The CCC is the best- you won’t find a group of more selfless dedicated loving cat lovers!! The CCC has helped my mom & I TNR hundreds of cats.. & give them a better life!! There isn’t enough space here for me to convey how much this group means to me.. or the good they have done for the cats!!!

As an independent rescuer, I can’t say enough about this rescue to do Justice for how much they do for my mom & I. MEOW has taken in countless cats & kittens that we have rescued, some needing extensive vet care.. nursed several ill babies back to health & given the top care each kitty needed to ensure they are ready to find their forever homes. They screen adopters- & are able to match cats/kittens with the perfect families so they can create beautiful lives together! We absolutely could not do what we do without the help from MEOW. The photo I included is just a small portion of the ones they helped us with this year. MEOW might be small- but what they do is HUGE.. & our community is so incredibly fortunate to have them.

I cannot say enough about this amazing organization.. teaching TNR is such a valuable resource for our communities!! Thanks to the CCC- we are able to enrich the lives of so many cats by stopping the suffering & boosting their health with spay/neuter, vaccines, parasite treatment- etc.. which in turn enriches the lives of the humans who care about them!!

Just this summer we have trapped two ferals with badly ruptured eyes. We do not have the funding or the ability to locate veterinarians who are comfortable working with ferals.. thanks to the ccc resources & funding.. both boys received the surgery they needed.. & after they were help for recovery- they were released to live their life- happier, healthier, & pain free!!

There isn’t enough space here for me to explain my experience with this nonprofit.. but I will share just a few. As an independent rescuer, MEOW cat rescue has helped us be able to give SO cats second chances at better lives.

Mary J & Bonita were trapped at a place that wasn’t safe for them to return to. They shut down shortly after arriving at the shelter. MEOW went above & beyond to fully rehabilitate the girls. They earned their trust & taught them that they had nothing to fear. They went from scared timid, almost feral.. to calm & loving. They found them the most phenomenal home, & they’ve even kept their rescuer updated on them!

Pretzel & Felix were trapped at about 4 months old. We quickly learned they had pectus excavatum & they needed surgery to lead a quality life. As independent rescuers whos main focus is TNR (trap neuter return).. we don’t not have a lot of extra funds. After a lot of worried & tearful nights, we reached out to MEOW. In the middle of kitten season, when they were bursting at the seams with cats in need… they agreed to take them. The boys got their surgery & they will have a quality life thanks to MEOW. The boys were trapped on an elderly woman’s porch.. & just a few days before they had surgery.. she passed away, & I know she is shining down, & is so thankful those once spicy babies that she loved dearly are in such good hands!

We brought a litter or 5 older kittens to MEOW, & when asked if there were any bonds between them- we told them the girls loved each other & the boys were best friends. However we didn’t expect them to keep them together if great homes came along for them separately. Adoption day came.. & ALL three girls were adopted TOGETHER!! They saw how they loved one another.. & they didn’t break the bond! The boys also stayed together!!

The thing with this rescue is that they care. They TRULY care. I have seen first hand how the staff & volunteers pour their hearts out to the cats, & they go above & beyond. They get to work early & they stay late. They are always learning & even when they are spread thin.. & really need a break.. it is not unusual for them to STILL reach out to offer help to others. They know their cats, & when they take cats in.. they open their hearts up & they commit themselves to giving that cat the best next chapter possible! I have worked with a lot of rescues & shelters, & I cannot recommend THIS rescue enough- for being the best little rescue who does the most.. making the BIGGEST impact.. & who helps SO many cats, & the people who love them!
