This program is absolutely incredible! I attended Statement Arts this year, and it was an amazing experience. All of the staff members were lovely and always gave great advice. This program challenged me and made me grow in ways I never knew I could. It prepared me for every aspect of my senior year. Every student got one-on-one attention for their college essays. We were also given material that we could use for college auditions and were coached through it. Not only were we vocally coached, but we were also able to get acting classes that really helped us dig into the meaning of our songs. We also had chorus class, which taught us how important it is to listen to each other as an ensemble. We then put on a performance, which was incredibly fun and rewarding. It reminded me how much I love theater and how ready I am to continue doing it in college. Doing this program made dreaming feel less scary because I knew I had the support of my dreaming family. I am so grateful to have been a part of this program

My experience with Statement Arts was incredible!! The teaching artists were so helpful. They helped coach us, but still left space for us to create our own ideas sparking our creativity. Which made me feel as an artist more well rounded, and also not scared to face improv. Before statement arts, I didin’t think it would be possible for me to create a scene with peers, but through coaching I was able to! I would recommend this program to any young artist looking to learn more about the arts and don’t know we’re to start. Or to young artists that are already in the performing arts world, but want to gain new experiences! This program was truly the highlight of my summer, and I am so excited for everyone who joins the program!
