Simply put, this organization is a champion for youth who need it most. They bring a constant, reliable sense of commitment to helping our most disadvantaged youth overcome significant hardships. As a former foster youth myself, I know how imperative consistency is in an otherwise chaotic, trauma-filled life. What isn't possible if you have someone who always shows up for you, cheers you on, provides resources & guidance and helps you accomplish what you otherwise thought was impossible purely because of where you came from & have endured? Kids Matter is an organization I had to get involved with. I had to help them further their movement of helping foster & kinship youth.
