CARE is such an incredibly special place, for both the animals that call it home and the humans there. As a volunteer, I have seen first hand how much love, research, hard work, and respect CARE puts into caring for this amazing creatures. The animals are healthy, happy, and well taken care of, and the specialty cases - animals with special needs and geriatric animals - thrive. Outreach and education are also top notch - allowing communities to learn more about these animals and how to help conserve species and help captive populations. I am so grateful to be apart of such an incredible organization.

CARE is on of the most incredible and magical places on earth. The animals’ personalities shine brightly, and are a testament to the incredible care they receive- from the food they eat to the medical attentiveness they are afforded. The staff are kind, thorough, and dedicated, and it shows in every animal that calls CARE home. I am so privileged and blessed to volunteer alongside them, growing and learning while supporting the most incredible creatures to walk this planet.
