Review for Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network Inc, Philidelphia, PA, USA
NIHPN does a great job on two fronts: guiding families out of homelessness, and bringing a wide range of congregations and members of very diverse backgrounds together to work on a common problem. By housing families in churches and synagogues, many dozens of people become aware of fellow human beings, not an abstract "homeless person." That has been part of my experience working as a volunteer over the years.

They do a great job with a very modest budget.
Role: Volunteer & I helped with meals and with moving out when the guests moved to another congregation.
