How grateful we are for Southwest Lending Closet! My son needed to have corrective foot surgery requiring huge unexpected costs for the surgery and physical therapy for months to follow. We talked to others who had been through similar experiences and they spoke so highly of SWL! We were able to borrow the equipment we needed at no cost which was a HUGE blessing! The next year when the other foot needed surgery, we were able to buy our own equipment and donate it to SWL at the end of it all. We found out that knee scooters were the number one needed item and we will keep that in mind for future giving as we’re able. It was so helpful in the first couple of months after surgery for my son to have far better mobility than with crutches alone. The volunteers were helpful in making the check out and return processes smooth. Thank you so much for your service to the community!
