Review for K9 Hero Portrait Project, Stillwater, PA, USA
When I lost my police K-9 I mourned the loss of my partner, my best friend, my protector and my shadow. He was literally the reason I am still here. There is no greater bond than that of a police dog and handler. Each pushing the other to train harder and push to be better. When I received my painting from the K-9 Hero Portrait Project, my healing truly began! I had my boy back! The painting more realistic than any photograph! I cherish that healing and make every effort to ensure EVERY handler I know receives a painting, by donating, after their faithful hero passes. The paintings preserve the dignity and grace of the dogs while healing the hearts & souls of their handlers and families! The artist pours her heart & soul into each painting, donating hundreds of hours of her life to help bring healing to broken hearts! THAT IS what a GREAT non profit should be!! Dedicated and selfless in helping others!! The first photo is my boy, K-9 Jersey of the Athens Ohio Police Dept. Thanks to The K-9 Hero Portrait Project and Loreen PantAleone I have my boy back!
