K9 Hero Portrait Project painted a portrait of my partner’s K9, Maros.
My partner was Jason Crisp. Jason and Maros was killed in the Line of Duty on March 12th 2014. Jason wasn’t just my partner, he was also my best friend, we were like brothers. We shared the same office and he was also my neighbor. I was often at his house throughout the day. Jason and his family were my family here since none of my family members live anywhere close to me.
Maros was my family also. He was like my dog, I would dog sit when Jason was out of town and also help Jason train with Maros.
Losing Jason and Maros were devastating to me.
The K9 Hero Portrait Project really helped me mentally with their masterpiece of Maros. I loved the painting so much I wanted a copy for myself and Loreen was able to provide me a perfect copy.
