Whenever I need to send a birthday, graduation, thank you, holiday gift, or condolence card, I always donate to the Survivor Mitzvah Project in honor of the person I am gifting. The recipient gets a beautiful acknowledgement letter telling them about the project, naming the survivors that are being helped by my donation I made in their honor or in memory of a loved one.

I always do a lot of research on the charities I support and this one has minimal overhead costs all covered by their Board of Directors or small foundations. That means every dollar I donate gets sent directly to a Holocaust survivor.
