Review for Veteran's PATH, Colorado Springs, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Veterans Path changed my life as a disabled female combat veteran. I met other women like me with similar issues with PTSD. Learning how to meditate in a group helped calm my anxieties in a safe place. Plus, it gave me tools to take home with me to use whenever I need it. There are so many veterans suffering and many have committed suicide. Veterans Path gave me a way to cope with my issues. Every veteran would benefit from Veterans Path, but combat veterans benefit significantly from it.

EXCEPTIONAL Nonprofit Organization!!! Veteran's Path took a large group of female veterans from all over the country with PTSD and Military Sexual Trauma, and taught us simple meditation and breathing techniques to help us all learn to calm ourselves down when we experience or sense triggers. We each shared our struggles in a very safe, loving, and understanding environment for 5 days and learned that we are not alone any longer. We started out as isolated strangers, and we evolved into a true sisterhood that will continue working together weekly to solidify our practices and build our safety network. This is exactly what so many of us needed, because we isolate ourselves normally because no one understands us. I've never seen this done so well with such great female leaders who are combat veterans too. They live what they teach, and I am so thankful for their encouragement and compassion. I've heard they do this for males and mixed groups too!
