Shanti Bhavan is such a unique organization because I can relate to the children in many different ways. I remember growing up it was very difficult for me and my family due to poverty. I would always wish and hope that we could get a helping hand and how much our family would be extremely appreciative. That helping hand did not come around but regardless we made it through but we faced many trials and tribulations.

I know the children of Shanti Bhavan never have to think like that and if at any point in time they do they will never have to worry. Shanti Bhavan makes it possible that these children are taken care of but it would have never been possible without those helping hands from all around the world. The fact that an organization like Shanti Bhavan exist truly warms my heart, a safe heaven for children of the future. Making the world a better place, one child at a time.
