I started as a volunteer in January 2020 and it literally changed my life. I learned so much about the care of horses, from grooming, to medical care. The love and care provided by Theresa, Bob and all of the volunteers is endless!
I always had my eye on this pretty Buckskin Arabian, but she was very shy and I wasn’t able to spend much time with her. One day she just came to me and I could tell she was looking for some scratches. Each time I went I would try to spend a little more time with her, she was starting to trust me just a little bit. I was falling in love with her and it was time to ask the big question! Can I adopt her? I was beside myself when Theresa said yes! She came home with me in July 2020. She didn’t know much, and neither did I. Over the past 2 years we have formed an unbelievable relationship, we both have worked very hard in our training and learning to trust each other. It has all paid off! I have the most wonderful riding partner I could have ever wished for!
