The work that the Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM) is doing is improving how Massachusetts responds to the growing threat of climate change. As an environmental leader in Massachusetts, ELM has successfully advocated for the responsible development of offshore wind and a just transition away from Massachusett's fossil fuel reliance. As a fellow working for the organization, I have had hands-on experience with ELM's great work, and the organization's importance cannot be understated. ELM is living proof of the impact that nonprofit organizations have on bettering environmental policy and advocacy.
