I have supported Unbound for over 38 years. It's hard to explain all the wonderful things this organization does to help the less fortunate in just one letter but I'll try. These are real people helping others to break the chain of poverty by providing them with an education, medical assistance and technical skills to develop their God given talents to support themselves and their families and to help their communities. Over the years I have sponsored many children in various countries: Kenya, Philippines, Bogota Columbia, Valparaiso Chile, and others. The children are usually around the age of 5 years old and are sponsored until they finish school and get a job or get married! We write to each other all the time and Unbound volunteers translate our letters into our native language. When they cry, I cry with them. When I am happy, then they are happy. Through our letters and pictures we become family. All of my sponsored children ( I have three right now) are called my Godchildren and I am their Godmother. There are sad times but mostly good times when we share our life's stories with each other. By sponsoring a child or elderly person, I promise, it will change your life for the better! The sponsorship fee does so much to help change lives. Please consider doing this, you will not regret it. If you need any assistance all you have to do is call Unbound and talk to a real person, not an answering machine and they will always be willing to answer your questions and if they don't know the answer, they will research it and get back with you.
