It is an absolute joy to serve on the board of Connect With A Wish (CWW). CWW is an amazing organization that truly cares about the underserved population of youth in foster care AND youth aging out to foster care. CWW offers a plethora of programs to support youth in foster care, foster care families and young adults who have aged out of foster care. Programs such as Birthday Brigade, Wishes, Summer Camps, Handle With Care, Supporting Success, Youth Groups and events such as Back to School Pep Rally, Prom Event, Graduation Celebration and Santapalooza. In addition, CWW is constantly adding programs as the staff and leadership recognizes more programs that will help this population. Most recently, CWW added Connect to Careers and Take 2 to assist young adults find meaningful employment and housing. If you support one great non-profit this year with your time, talent or treasure, then it should be Connect With A Wish!

Connect With A Wish offers a wide variety of support programs for children in foster care in the Virginia Beach area. I continue to be impressed as additional services are added each year to help this underserved population. The staff and volunteers are always working hard to increase the quality of life for these children and young adults. Thank you to so many for caring about our community. Connect With A Wish is top notch!
