Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary- Texas (formerly International Exotic Feline Sanctuary, Inc.), Boyd, TX, USA

I worked as an intern at IEFS back in 2003 and had a fantastic experience there. I can attest to the fact that the staff and administrators of the sanctuary have the animals' best interests at heart and do all they can to give the animals the best possible quality of life. Being certified as a santuary by the AZA also provides evidence of the high standards of the sanctuary.

I've visited other animal sanctuaries and none have had the quality of IEFS in attention to habitat richness and size, and overall treatment of and respect for the animals.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I can't think of any changes I would recommend at this time.

Role:  Volunteer & I served as an intern for three months, assisting in the care of all animals at the sanctuary and providing tours to the public.
