My daughters and I volunteer either on Friday food prep or on Saturday food service shifts. We really love being part of such a well run program and very much enjoy working alongside such amazing volunteers. It's so rewarding to know the food that we help prep and cook on a Friday afternoon is going to be used the following morning for all those in need. Volunteering on a Saturday has the joy of personally meeting all those being helped by the food we prepare on Friday. Strongly recommend the program as a very rewarding volunteer opportunity for everyone.
